A portion of the proceeds will be used to raise funds for the Community Church of Glen Rock and their mission work. In addition, we will be accepting non-perishable food donations the evening of the concert for the Center for Food Action (CFA).

September 14- Blessing of the Backpacks 10 a.m. Service
Special Prayers and Blessings over the children returning to school in the fall. Bring the Kids, Bring the Grandkids!! End of summer BBQ at the manse following the service.
September 21- Solos and Strings – 4 p.m.
No Charge Admission – Free Will Offering Accepted
Join us for a captivating Solo and Strings recital at the Community Church of Glen Rock Sanctuary. Featured soloists include Melanie Lota, Soprano and Jerry Vargo, Bass who will be exploring the beauty and mystery of nightfall through the arrival of morning light. The vocal selections in this beautiful program will feature prominent solos and duets from both classical and musical theatre repertoire. Complementing their vocal artistry, string players Hannah Finkelberg, Vicki Sharpe, Alison Muldoon and Laura Bird will present chamber selections that contribute to the afternoon’s atmosphere of reflection and renewal.
October 5- River Mission Outreach
Join us for this extremely rewarding mission outreach. We will meet in the kitchen at Fellowship Hall at 2 pm to assemble meals. October 26- CROP Hunger Walk 2025
Please join us in supporting the annual CROP Walk to help stop hunger. For online donations and information about the walk on October 26th, please use the following link below for online donations. Checks can be made out to CWS/CROP and dropped off at the Church office, or mail to CCGR at 354 Rock Rd, Glen Rock NJ 07452. The walk will “kick off” from the front lawn of Emmanuel Church, 14 Hope Street, Ridgewood NJ at 1:00 on Sunday, Oct. 26th. The church is on the corner of Hope Street and East Ridgewood Ave.
