Plant  and  Wreath Pick-Up

Thank you to everyone who purchased plants & wreaths! Orders will be available for pick-up on Saturday, December 6th in the Drop In Center Library from 11am – 1 pm.

Please join us to help brighten the Christmas Season & beyond with ‘packages of love’ filled with much needed items for The River Mission Homeless & Community Outreach, housed at Second Reformed Church in Hackensack.  The mission is headed by Pastor/Director Don McCracken, who has preached at CCGR in Pastor Terry’s absence.

Help us fill our packages. Look for boxes in the Narthex and by the church office throughout the month of December to place your donations.

Basic Needs Suggested Include:

-Bar soap or bottles of 3-in-1 combination shampoo, conditioner, & body wash

-Toothbrushes & toothpaste, Deodorant (solid), smaller containers of lotion

-Razors & shaving cream (small containers if possible)

-Paper Towels & Toilet Paper

Food (most requested; pop-top cans preferable & plastic jars if available)

Chef Boyardee – cans or cups; Campbells Chunky Soups; Dinty Moore Stew; Progresso Soups; Tuna – cans or pouches; Hormel or Stagg Chili – any flavor except hot; Peanut Butter – homogenized so does not need stirring; Jelly; Cup of Noodles/Cup of Soup; Pasta – especially angel hair or thin spaghetti; Pasta Sauce; Canned peas, corn, carrots, or beans of any type.

Cold Weather Apparel – socks, gloves, scarves, outerwear

Gift Cards – McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts (max. $10) or Shop Rite (max. $25) appreciated.
