What is a Bible Heroine?
A Bible heroine is a woman in the Bible who is recognized for her courage, faith, or significant role in God’s story.
These women often display strength, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to God, even in challenging circumstances.
They can be leaders, prophets, or simply women who embody faith and obedience.

September 11 – Glen Rock 9/11 Memorial Service. 6:30 p.m.. G.R.A.C.E. Memorial in Veteran’s Park, Main Street
September 14- Blessing of the Backpacks
Special Prayers and Blessings over the children returning to school in the fall. Bring the Kids, Bring the Grandkids!!
September 21- Solos and Strings
Join us for a captivating Solo and Strings recital at the Community Church of Glen Rock Sanctuary. Featured soloists include Melanie Lota, Soprano and Jerry Vargo, Bass who will be exploring the beauty and mystery of nightfall through the arrival of morning light. The vocal selections in this beautiful program will feature prominent solos and duets from both classical and musical theatre repertoire. Complementing their vocal artistry, string players Hannah Finkelberg, Vicki Sharpe, Alison Muldoon and Laura Bird will present chamber selections that contribute to the afternoon’s atmosphere of reflection and renewal.
October 5- River Mission Outreach
Prepare and serve dinner to the clients of The River Mission in Hackensack.
October 12- Blessing of the Animals

October 25- Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway
“Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway” is a concert tour showcasing iconic songs from the past century of Broadway musicals, performed by Broadway stars who have actually been in those shows. The show features a rotating cast of singers and is known for its engaging storytelling and dynamic performances.
October 26- CROP Hunger Walk 2025
Please join us in supporting the annual CROP Walk to help stop hunger. The walk will “kick off” from the front lawn of Emmanuel Church, 14 Hope Street, Ridgewood NJ at 1:00 on Sunday, Oct. 26th. The church is on the corner of Hope Street and East Ridgewood Ave. Stay tuned for Crop Walk website information.
