THE COMMUNITY CHURCH of GLEN ROCK CELEBRATES 125 YEARS

You are cordially invited to join us in honor of this special occasion!
Friday May 13 – Sunday May 15, 2022

 Whether you can make the Friday night social, Saturday dinner, the Celebration Church service, or all three, we HOPE your memories will “bring you home”, with your family, to remember and share in a weekend of fellowship and worship.

Friday, May 13 – Wine and Cheese Social

• 7:00pm Drop-In Center: 

Saturday, May 14 – Memorabilia Display & Open Campus

• 12:00pm – 2:00pm Parlor
• 6:30pm Buffet Dinner (BYOB)
  Sharing your memories & stories through video or in person during the evening. Fellowship Hall 

Sunday, May 15 – Celebration Service, Festive Coffee Hour

• 10:00am Sanctuary

We realize that many of you live quite a distance or have adopted new church communities. So, in addition to the weekend’s activities, there are two other ways you can honor, remember & support the 125-year history of Community Church.

SEND A VIDEO OR PHOTOS – Help us to create a presentation of your memories/greetings to share on Saturday night. Submit still photos or shoot a 1-2 minute video in a well-lit area, avoiding backlighting and background noise, using landscape mode. Send your submissions to timstansel@gmail.com for Google Photo or timstansel@hotmail.com for Apple Photo. Firm deadline is May 1.  Please identify who you are, in your email.

GIVE THANKS – In honor of your history with the Community Church please, if you are able, consider a monetary gift donation. Any amount of your choosing would be greatly appreciated. Your contributions will help support the church’s new Vision Plan; to expand programs, attract new members and to increase our mission and community outreach. Your generosity will help to assure there will be more memories to honor in the years to come.
