Christian Adult Education

Opportunities in Adult Nurture include:

• Week in Review members gather every Monday to discuss contemporary events from a Christian perspective.

• Study groups meet weekly during Lent to discuss topics appropriate to the season.

• The Second Hour is an opportunity on Sunday mornings for adults to continue their Christian education. The subjects are as varied as studies of Biblical topics, discussion of other religions and reflections on current events.

• The Community Church Memorial Series brings outside speakers to the church for a series of presentations. The series has featured speakers such as Marcus Borg and Merold Westphal.

• Book discussion groups gather to read and discuss novels, inspirational stories and topical nonfiction.
